For years, the HOA board has embezzled millions of dollars from the residents of this subdivision, and all we have to show for it is: crime, drugs [distribution and manufacturing], and unpaved “roads”.
The HOA board is also responsible for a lot of deaths on the subdivision; including multiple drowning incidents at the lakes, due to their embezzlement and gross negligence. There were no lifeguards on duty, and the "road" conditions contributed to their deaths. The condition of the "roads" cuts down the response time of emergency vehicles and is a danger to everyone living in the subdivision. Emergency vehicles will not enter the subdivision without a law enforcement escort due to the crime, and it also cuts down on response time and is a life-threatening situation that should have been addressed by the HOA board.
We lost a very important essential service this past year under the current HOA board: mail delivery to our homes due to the neglected "roads". The HOA board never holds elections and places whoever they want on the board, and now we have to do another one of their jobs by reporting properties to the county instead of enforcing their own rules and regulations. It is time to dissolve the HOA since it no longer serves a purpose and move this subdivision to a better future.
The immediate stop of residents and HOA board members doing "work" for the HOA and subdivision. No one should be doing "free" work; the work should be done by professionals.
Hire outside contractors to maintain the "roads" (plowing, fixing potholes) and to prep the "roads" for paving.
Sell off all HOA equipment, property and assets and pave the "roads".
Dismantle the entrance gate as it serves no purpose other than to keep legitimate traffic out.
Bring a vote to dissolve the HOA voluntarily by 05/02/2026.
We will begin the process of establishing a conservatorship for the HOA with The Courts in June 2026. Control of our community funds and resources will be handled by the state until the HOA is dissolved.
We are retired small business owners, disabled professionals, and current business owners who live in the Whispering Valley Lakes Subdivision in New Haven, Missouri. We formed this group to take action against the current HOA board for their gross negligence. This action will entail many phases and will more than likely last many years. We are dedicated and have a proven track record to see this multi-year action through.
We are tired of the crime. We are tired of the pollution from the chop shops. We are tired of the squatters. We are tired of the drugs. But mostly, we are tired of the HOA board's incompetence and inaction. They will all be held accountable — current and former members.
